What does everybody use to clean their viv? I used a hamster cage cleaner before which is reptile safe, but I found that it stank (supposedly lemony).

I use a product called "dettol antibacterial surface cleanser" it was what was suggested to me when I got my first snake by the shop owner. He uses it in all his tanks. I now use it for all my snakes as well as gerbils and hamsters. It is safe to use around pets once it has dried and it dries orderless. you just spray it on an wipe it off. Very convenient.

That's the last stuff I got too, although I haven't used it yet. Glad to see someone else is already using it without any problems. You don't wipe it off with water afterward? How long have you been using it?

No I just leave the surface to dry completely. And I have been using it for roughly 2 years. When I first started using it I was wiping it down with water but after i found it became oderless so quickly I stoped bothering. And as I said the shop owner uses it with the majorty of his pets. So I am happy it is safe.
