After I bought Composts vivarium I never really got around to sorting out his decor. I spent £15 on fake plants and was the out of inspiration and money. All he had was a cardboard hide and a bark hide which was too small for him. I eventually added a climbing branch but that was it. I was in the reptile shop the other day though and picked up a really nice piece of cork bark for a fiver. It is about 2ft long and arched so I was very pleased. I then had the idea of covering up his cardboard box with leaves and twigs and things. This was the final result and I feel it is now finished. What do you think. Before After

Looking really well you disguised the box extremely well. Well done. I make my own hides as well.

That does look really good! Makes me feel ashamed to have one of the artificial ones!! I'll make my own I think for Trillian when I upgrade her viv and try and have something more natural. I like the idea of the leaves.

Thanks guys. The leaves are so easy to do, I just soaked them in bleach for an hour and let the dry out. And in my opinon it looks pretty cool.
You got any pics brigadoon, I am looking for some to put on the website, thats if you don't mind.

Pics of snakes and viv? On your website? Yeah sure! Feel free to use the two I've already added on the forum. I'll take some pics of the viv for you as well. I'll take some newer pics of Marvin and Trillian when they come out next. And of course of the new arrival when she gets here (should be next week-end now)

The hanging plants are just fake ones. the big plant at the back is a jade plant (money plant). There is a bit about them on my forum.

Yeah they are plastic. £5 each and there are 3 in there. The guy at my local reptile shop usually has quite a few. Better than the EXo terra ones in my opinion.

You get similar ones at the shop Au Naturale. I looked at them there when the shop had run out.
