My boy friends snake has got out and vanished and we can't find her. How long could she survive in the UK, she escaped into the house somewhere, and has anyone got tips on how to find her?
Thanks!

As long as your house is reasonably warm there is nothing to worry about. I lost mine for 3 months until we found him in the compost heap, lol. Look everywhere starting closest to the tank and moving away. You can put a thin line of corn flour across the doorway to track his movements also you can use a ice cream tub to make a trap place a food item inside and create a hole just big enough for the snake to get in. This means the snake will not be able to get out after it has eaten. Leave out water for the snake and making a hot spot using a heat mat may result in you finding the snake. Good luck finding your snake and don't worry too much.
How old is it?

Nightmare, Snoop decided to go for a walkabout last week, he is small so I was worried that he could get in the smallest crack in the wall or something.
But without his heat mat and being the winter he got cold and only manged to go about 3ft from his tank and then curled up in a cardboard box, luckily I found him I think he was only out for a few hours.
Like shrimply said start close and work away from the tank. Good luck

First off, don't worry! My baby corn snake escaped once, I panicked and look all over the place, tipped my room upside down intact! Just as I was about to give in, I saw him/her sat there looking at me in the corner, it looked as though he was thinking "haha you cant seeeeeeeeeeee me". But yeah, follow the great advice Shrimply gave you, and you will find him in no time
